I'm currently trying to decide which system I should go for.

First choice is Kicker DCVR12-2(800RMS at 2 ohm, comes with Kicker box) with Kenwood KAC-9103D (900RMS at 2 ohm), and my second choice is Kicker VS12L52 (600RMS at 2ohm, comes with Kicker box) with MTX TA5601(600RMS at 2ohm).

First choice takes lots of room in my trunk, but it has more RMS. Also, I do not know if 2 of CVR12 sound better than one 12" L5.

I usually listen to rap, hip-hop, and rock

I'm on low budget which is about $400 for both subs and amp. I can get either of choices under $400. I'm wondering which one is better or any other suggestion under $400?

Thanks

I prefer the sound of the round Kicker subs compared to the L5/L7 series. However, I also like room in my trunk. I'd probably go with the smaller combo, but if space isn't an issue, then definitely go with the CVRs.
