Those Frod batards didn't label it clearly! Can anyone tell me what it looks like? I'm under the impression it is in that module infested behind-the-glovebox area. :thankyou:

it's part of the instrument cluster. It's right behind the fuel gage. You have to remove the instrument cluster to get at it. And... technically, it's the Anti-slosh module lol...

Just add a little more info:

It is a small curcuit board that plugs inot the back of the instrument cluster. (BTW there are two plug in curcuit boards can't remember which one it is but it does have it printed on the CB)

When looking at the cluster from the back, the ASM is on the left side, behind the fuel gauge.

lulz.

dick.
Sorry you got sand in your vaj, but if you were paying attention, you might have realized that I quoted naval-avi8tor to clarify which of the two PCB's on the rear of the cluster was the correct one.

If it makes you feel any better, then yes, you had first dibs on the right answer.

No its the module that keeps your gas gage from moving up and down while you drive ANTI SLOSH module.

The ATX one would be the ANTI SLUSH box module.

So you mean you have to take the white piece out completely, and it would be on the back side of it where the harnesses plug into it?

I remember when I had the actual cluster gauges out there were two spots where a small, read 2"x2" or so, PCB could plug in. One was in, I think of the left side behind the Tach. This was looking at the white housing from the drivers seat. That isn't what you guys are describing, right?

Yes, and yes there are two small pc boards. You want the one directly behind the fuel gage.

That's bizarre. I have the same sort of thing on the front (ie: on the bulb side) of mine, just one. I'll have to take this apart tonight and see what's up.

Thanks RacerX! What's the text say under the logo?

It says "No idea what this does."

It's really some sort of dimmer circuit, from what I can ascertain.
