My car has started do dip to 500rpm at idle, somtimes it dies, sometimes it recovers back to 1k.

I read the IAC valve might be dying, so I want to take a look at it. Where is this sucker located & what does it look like?

It is on the opposite side of the throttle body on the intake. Two allen head bolts hold it on. I think you must take the intake off to remove it. Unless you can remove the top bolt, slide the IAC around a little and get to the bottom bolt.

Also, I can not post a picture. But send me your email and I will send one with it circled.

I have also, and i found it insanely easy...didnt know what the fuss was all about. Ofcourse, i do have pretty lanky girly fingers, so i can remove the lower bolt with my fingers after losening it.

Just set a peice of paper towl below it while removing the lower bolt, just incase it slips out of your fingers and falls.
