I tried to replace my passenger side wheel bearing, and I was very frustrated after making no progress. Could anyone help me out? After having everything off, I came to the conclusion that the knuckle would have to be taken off and the spindles pressed out? could anyone tell me if I'm on the right track or not? Thanks for any advice!

You will need a press with at least 5,000 pounds of force. I had both of my front wheel bearings replaced at 240,000 miles. The shop had to subcontract out the work to have the old pressed out and the new pressed in because their press was only a 4,000 pres and coulcn't budge the bearings. I also had to replace of one of the hubs that had been gouged out from the worn out bearing.

Well I happen to have a good press handy, my friend says theres nothing he wont be able to press out, anyone have any advice on how to go about it? It looks like there is a snap rings on the inside part of the bearing. Any advice will help!! And I was wondering if I will have to have a spring compress to remove the knuckle and spindle?
