Any one happen to have access to the wire diagram for steering wheel and column? I scored a nice wheel with improved buttons from a 17 Explorer. TCCA forum had a very similar post and the OP went so deep down the rabbit hole he was swapping SCCMs but it didnt work out. My theory is they're just momentary switches so reorientating the wires should provide the desired controls since they allegedly work just not in the correct order. A schematic would help me along and considering the improvement id gladly do a write up for anyone interested. The explorer wheel uses better buttons, a sleeker appearance, and a thicker wheel. Here's a pic of the wheel I snagged for reference, it has everything except adaptive cruise which can be added later ifni can figure out the wiring differences.20260304 212259

Thank you sir! looks like I have an inside look at the SCCM, but the clock spring wires say NCA, assuming that means "no color associated"? either way, its way better than going in blind, this weekend I plan on taking my wheel off and laying them side by side and seeing what wires go where and to what pins, and compare them to any schematics I can dig up. Thinking I might just buy one of the shop wiring manuals, seems like it might come in handy lol

i forgot to say be careful, @Texas Marauder might have non PP shop manuals.... that alldata DIY is actually pretty weak in being truly helpful, at least in my opinion.

I figure if I can make sense of it before any cuts ill probably just splice some spade connectors on each wire so if I have to swap some around im not burning the wick down every time. If they're nothing alike and untraceable ill probably just swap inners and call it a day. I just need to know enough to not fry the SCCM, probably aught to bring the multi meter out too
