You didn`t tell me anything i didn`t know already. But,since you`re so big on 1st hand information, talk to Doug Lewis about his direct port kit,it`s good for only 150 MAX on the stock internals, compared to the dry kit capable of 125hp MAX.You are not going to tell me anything about running nitrous specifically on an SHO that i don`t know.Since you didn`t even know the name of direct port(you called it the kind Doug has),you won`t convince me i don`t know what i`m talking about.

Btw,where did my running 14.2`s come from?It was never mentioned what`s done to my SHO,how much nitrous i run,if i even drag it regularly,or what my current n/a times are.How at all did my SHO get brought into this,i didn`t even build it to be a drag racer,i built it for fun. shrug

Let me say this one last time becasue it is obvious you are not comprehending this very simple statement! A properly running STOCK Mustang GT ('99-03) 5sp w/ a talented driver will run a 13.9-14.1@98-100mph with absolultely NO MODS! What part of this do you not understand!
100mph trap time seems false - guess again. A new G35 sedan w/ 260hp and auto trans can hit 97mph! My G35 6sp coupe can hit 99mph. What's so hard about 100mph!

As for the gear change, I was emphasizing that a simple $200 change will get you into high 13's no problem.

Unless your current SHO can run a 14 flat or better you CANNOT beat a new GT in the 1/4 mile unless it has an auto tranny or a very novice driver. I'd bet $$ on it!!

JT, I never said your SHO ran 14.2's. I asked you what it ran and I would think with full weight you'd be in 14-14.2's and TVDINNERSHO brought it up thinking it was a time that had been ran. I just asked if that was your range, but I guess you never seen. I also know what the direct port set up is, I said it as the Doug L. set up so people that had no idea would know. 150+hp is possible on a SHO and will need some work to be done about the fuel control and what not.
