I never said it wouldn't work... I said it wouldn't work in a Dual exhaust Remote Setup.
I know it will work off of each bank given that the turbos are close to the motor (and the piping is wrapped, as every degree is going to be needed), and the turbo's are properly sized/controlled.

Nothing wrong with doing a dual remote system either. There are plenty of dual remote setups out there working VERY well.

On 3l V6's? Or any other small V6's?

I'd really like to see some. I'll eat my words man... :type:

I had a remote twin turbo 350Z on my dyno about a month ago. Made 460/440 to the wheels. Automatic car too. Only 7 psi because it was a stock motor.

Well ****... anyone got a fork????

Allthough that is a slightly bigger motor... And, doesn't it have a slightly shorter wheelbase (or exhaust plumbing for that matter) than the SHO...
I'm not trying to argue this part of it, just making observations... :thumb:

That's what they said about a remote mounted turbo setup on a SHO...

why not just make a twin engine taurus... leave the front engine where it is and add another to the rear. 2 sho engines in one taurus, tubed chassis all wheel drive.
I've thought about this... Or just making a rear engined SHO.......:naughty:
****, Olympic was turning his SHOpaz into a twin SHO moptored Topaz

someone just convert their taurus to RWD already ...then none of u will have problems running twin turbos on seperate but equal piping systems

its realy not that hard .... swap front frames, front suspensions, center tunnels, rear suspension and trunk floors(with gas tank) have a driveshaft made, replumb the gas tank, hook up the steering .... :)
Yes this is not that hard, just time consuming, tedious work... It's kind of a pain, but not neccesarily hard per-say. :p

Well ****... anyone got a fork????

do you want a spork instead.:laugh_ti:  :p

Here's a spoon, now how about you **********?:nut: :laugh_ti:  :snicker:

I'm just kidding LOL

actually I'm sure it is. welding in a tunnel from a mustang is easy, bolting in a crossmember and changing the rack is not too hard, the front suspension should be fairly straight forward as well. The hardest part is the rear suspension... Doing this could be made fairly simple though by cutting out the spare tire well and adding a fuel cell(or a stock 65 mustang gas tank that would become the new floor). then you would need to cut the stock h-brace out, build a small subframe and attach it to some subframe connectors, bolt down the axle with a tri-link/4 link setup and then all you need is a driveshaft, by far the hardest part would be finding the perfect rear axle and the drive shaft.

i highly doubt that.

haha your such a clueless ******** that it makes me laugh

you have zero concept of the amount of stuff i have to design / build / modify for that car

just build some standoffs to bolt the mustang crossmember to the sho's SHEETMETAL frame rails, run some extra tubing to keep the front frame stiff, modify the strut towers to properly locate / accept the mustang struts ... or just swap EVERYTHING between the firewall and radiator ... out with the sho stuf, in with the mustang stuff....

the reason you do the trunk floor is because the 80's style mustang gas tank is under the spare tire well .... swapping the floor = instant gas tank swap also ... just have to get some rubber fuel tubing to connect the tank back to the filler neck and run your fuel lines

run some subframe connectorsfromyournew front rails all the way back and run them up over the rear suspension and your all set to fab in a 80's mustang rear axle .... just have to get the proper offset wheels

so a RWD set up engine in a FWD car is harder than a RWD engine set up to a RWD car...

especially since a SHO engine will barely fit into the engine bay in a RWD application

:laugh_ti: wow... speaking of clueless shitheads

ANNNND im done tearing this thread even more off-topic

Sammy~D - - -for some reason, that looks really simple once its all drawn out.

strings1732 - - - did olympic ever get that done? I have a friend that really wants to ADD another engine to a SHO. After actually going over alot of the brutal work, the hardest thing would be the rear axle/driveshaft. Everything else back there can be fab'd or taken off other cars (if it fits). Before I say any input on turbos, I am going to fully research everything to do with it so I dont give any wrong advise or cross information to assist in confusing others with turbo help.
