I just got my car back today from being in the shop for a couple days.I took it in there for intermtant stalling at Idle and knocking trans.they fixed the trans by cutting off about one inch off of the bolts they used to put my new y-pipe in,the boltswere banging up agaist the shifter. They performed a full intake evacuation and cleaned out the fuel injectors.now the car doesnt stall out anymore and feels alot smoother in wot but when I put car in nuetral when I am moving or come to a stop it has loopey idle it jumps up and down between 1000 and 2500 rpm. what the **** would cause this?will it damage my engine. please help! anyone :nut:

It shouldn't damage the engine although it probably isn't good for it. Did you check for codes? How old is the IAB? Have you tried cleaning the MAF?

I agree with checking the IAB/IAC and giving it a good cleaning. And if you're cleaning that a good couple squirts on the MAF filiment isn't a bad idea either.

The mods in your list don't require any added tuning to operate properly. The Idle air bypass/control sensor regulates the idle when you are coming off throttle so the dip doesn't stall the motor. If it is not working properly often the car will stall or have a hard time regulating rpms coming off throttle, putting in the clutch and releasing the load form the motor, fast deceleration etc.. That's my first instinct.

Also get some electronics cleaner and clean the MAF yourself. Sometime people tell you what you want to hear to get you out of their face. The stuff is cheap and it will come in handy later. Did you check to see if there are any codes stored in memory?
