STB confusion

Aren't the GenII STBs supposed to all be the plastic type? The '94 has those, however I discovered that the '95 has metal bars (dowel like) instead of the plastic. Is this some sort of upgrade or replacement that was installed?

Sounds like you are talking about the sway bar end links in front. Either will work. The OEM type are plastic, there are some metal replacements. The rears are a threaded rod.
