Spun rod bearing in 93 MTX

I just rebuilt a 3.2 SHO engine (new rings, main and rod bearings) stuck it in my MTX car, drove 600 miles and rod bearing spun on no.4 cylinder. Im sure my crank is damaged as the piston started hitting the head. Is the crank in my 3.0 engine the same as the 3.2? If so, i guess ill pull motor and swap cranks. Prob have to get new rod also, same in the 3.0 versus 3.2? I know piston diameter different, but not sure about the other two. Thanks....appreciate any response:thankyou:

Cranks are the same, the rods are different. Chances are if it spun, the rod is toast.

Don't you have to balance the engine if you swap out the crank?
