The vehicle runs excellent and passes smog with brand new CAT converters. It’s sitting on brand new tires as well.
Mechanical Work done: Replaced the Rod Bearings, Replaced the timing belt, installed new crank position sensor, water pump and main seal.
Sound system with a 12" subwoofer, bluetooth deck, and 4 new speakers. sounds really good, I'm an car audio guy and I love it.
Work to do: install lower fog lights (main lights and high beams work fine), wire electrical for sun roof and power side mirrors, bolt in center console and driver side pillar. Comes with full maintenance shop manual, valve adjustment kit and other random spare parts and hardware.
Cons: random lights come on and off for ABS and airbag, 4 inch tear in driver seat, stickers for climate control rubbed off, slow oil leak from near crankshaft seal, when under lots of torsion the shifter will rotate slightly (I looked into it on this forum and it looks like a quick weld will fix it, it drives and shifts fine, I only noticed it when I was screwing on the ****).
Can't afford insurance for second vehicle these days so I got to sell it. I am going to be gone all summer working in the backcountry so I need to sell it before April 20th. If I can't sell it before then then I'll have to wait until mid-October when I return.
