Update on my car, Progressive was aware I was already installing new parts than rather have car sit at dealer waiting on CV axle. Progressive now has changed their mind and wants the car to be all done by a dealer to guarantee it will be mechanically correct. So I stripped off new parts, installed all broken parts back on vehicle. I will be keeping my new parts for spares. This is the estimate for just mechanical, excluding body repair. Dealer like me understood if you put all new parts on one side you have to replace everything on the other side. Insurance has reminded me twice I have a $500 deductible, not really concerned after seeing this. I spent round $1,000 for all new parts on both sides and a used rim, had road hazard so tire will be replaced for free. They will not use my CV axle and claim it's a 4-8 week wait on just the passenger axle from their vendors.

Luckily that mount did not affect block. They did confirm that if I had taken out where the bracket mounts to block, block is ruined at that point. Just the bracket needs replaced.
Ordered an XDI EVO 35 HPFP back in mid October and a couple of ETA's have come and gone. Starting to get concerned with their ability to deliver. 
Been unable to get my car tuned properly without it since the turbo upgrade and don't have any other option that I know of other than re-install stock turbos.

I did order it with Brad but apparently XDI is/was having supply chain issues for a part necessary to make the pump. Based on the email correspondence Brad had with XDI that he CC'd me, XDI is gearing up to make the part themself. Edit: Completely misread the email. XDI says the resolved the issue with the supplier, testing the parts and gearing up to ship them out.

Replacing ptu in driveway today. Sick and sore. Dosnt seem to bad so far. Just needed to run for different tools. Axle nut is 32mm. Everywhere said 36mm for front and rear. No rust and no cats. Just alot of work to get to the dam thing. No dropping frame at all. Ill remove lower mounts and ratchet strap the bottom of the engine forward to get more space. Lots of transmission fluid came out when i removed axle. Also was leaking transmission fluid into ptu from inner seal going also. At least a quart came out from just the axle being pulled. Dont seem like a bad job just again lots of bs in the way.
Im not worried about the gear oil mixing with the atf because the gear oil is long gone. Ptu was clunking just trying to pull the car into the driveway. Im sure its at its grenade point

I found a better way to move the motor forward. Just have to watch up front with everything moving into the radiator. Maybe its better since i dont have an intercooler on this side of the frame. Remove 1 bolts on each bottom mount. Put a jack on the steel mount not the soft transmission. There is engine mounts up top also that dont need touched. Factory bottom mounts may be able to move also. Mine are just steel with poly bushings. No real flex without them removed.

Well i got it out. Dont look good. Talking to my ford tech buddy. He said the huge crack along the axle is from to much tork. And where they always see them fail from torsion. Who knows. I got a new one to put on tomorrow. Half the battle is over. Im beat and covered in atf. How i hate working under cars.
There is no damage under the car or evidence of a strike. Oil pan and surrounding would have damage because the ptu is up higher above the frame. If the oil was like tar inside that would cause it twist if i stomp it and the ptu dont wanna. Ill take it apart and post it on my thread eventually. I dont think anyone wants it

When it happened. I felt a not normal clunk when driving home 40miles away. And then started smelling gear oil. Pulled over and looked under and saw it gushing out. Backed the car up and it was sludgy gear oil. Called my dad to let him know i may not make it back. But i did make it back taking it easy. Then as it was sitting it was leaking atf out of the crack on the coverplate on the bottom. It was a 1 drive thing. Not like i kept driving not knowing it was leaking. Bearing may have walked and caused it to crack. I was actually driving it pretty easy that day before it happened.
Just felt a clunk and smelled gear oil. Also there isnt much gear oil in it to start with. As much as i seen gushing out after the clunk. That was probably about all of it anyway. Once i open it up i can see if the bearing went but idk if ill be able to tell or not. I never changed the ptu fluid. At 72k miles when i smoked the engine i asked them to change the fluid out for me. Idk if they did or not. But at 100k miles now i can’t believe the ptu fluid would of been that tar gummy like within 30k miles. With no cats. But from now on ill change it once a year at least

Got it done today. Time to take it for a ride soon and see what i forgot. Not a bad job, engine moves far enough forward that ptu plop right up. Just up down up down when im already sick and sore. Man i had to use the big girl to get the case bolts off. The 3/8 impact didnt budge them. 1/2 inch Milwaukee fuel didnt let me down yet.

Drove it around yesterday and today. Finally got to a point where i was confident enough in the work to gun it. And holy crap shes quick. From not driving it for 2 months and driving a low and slow car from 1976 everyday since. Lol
From being sore i think the worse part was trying to put the factory flower rim back on. Man they are heavy. I gotta find a way to drop 40lbs a wheel

Traded in my SHO for a 2020 Camry SE.
The nearly 100 miles/day commute and not so great gas mileage has been not very cool.
180k miles in total, stock ptu, stock turbos, stock everything. Only major repair done was on the timing chain + water pump deal.
It was fun while it lasted and I'm sure I will miss it a little.

did you check with Brad, GH or Ortiz for an in stock unit?
What about a livernoise high pressure pump?? Are they in stock? I been running one for about 3 plus years with no issues.. Nock on wood!! Don't mean to stir the *** but an other alternative..

As much as I don't want to promote LMS, I have had mine for 2 maybe 3 years now too, and have had no issues as well.
