It seems like the 3.5 ecoboost fairs better than many other DI engines I have seen posted online with even less mileage. I feel like mine is idling smoother since cleaning but I replaced my spark plugs at the same time.
The reduced chamber size seems to be the biggest impact, not the build-up on the valves imho. BTW, you got yours really clean...my tongue wasn't long enough to get in there :)

Discovered that the passenger side of my 2013 drastically doesn't blow the same air temperature as the driver side.

Hello All,

What did I do today? Read on. Sorry I don't get much time to participate as much as I would like to but anyway I'd like to give an update on the 2015 Police Sedan EB i bought 1 year ago.

So I bought it at 80k miles and on Dec 22 I had 99500 on it and I bought a 48 mo 48k Ford esp premium care from Ziegler. In the last year I haven't had any issues with the care at all and I installed a GH tunes plugs thermostat. I love this car.

SO TODAY I installed an AUTO Climate control panel from a NON police car and programed it using Forscan. It works! The passenger side does not work as far as I can tell, but I don't care. Everything else workes perfectly, set the temp and forget it! It changes where the air comes out of the vents, fan speed etc. I did have to trim the bottom of the panel due to the different console connection. I will post pics as soon as I can. I paid 85 bucks for the panel of ebay and for me I think it was well worth it for the upgrade, cuz I could never get comfortable.

Today I called my Progressive agent to see what they'll pay, at 55,000 miles on car and losing the control arm ball joint at 45mph took all the new year joy out of me. It took out the brake line, bent the shock, pulled out the transaxle, sent the wheel up into the fender and destroyed it and the rim. Bummed a cigarette from a bystander and and stood there looking like I was lost.

For an update, the car is still in the process of repairs, I've never seen anything like it, but getting ahold of a motorcraft front right CV axle assembly has been a lost cause, the dealer can't even get me one, I went through tasca and recieved a damaged unit, one sold on ebay for $354 dollars, and RockAuto doesn't even list the front right CV axle assembly anymore on their site.

Are you sure it isn't the Motorcraft TX833? Rock Auto shows it fits 2010-19 SHOs, in stock, for $120.79.

ETA: If you're also needing the longer Intermediate Shaft, I had to order DG1Z3A329E from Rock Auto.

TX-833 is what you need. It fits all SHO's but on the 2010-2012 the inner shaft has to be replaced.

Your thread is what led me to know that I had the intermediate shaft versus the longer one-piece.

Yes but I was looking for complete axle assembly. I need the complete with intermediate shaft. I had to to go the route of ordering shaft through Tasca and then order CV axle as a separate piece. No company is offering complete assembly. Mine was damaged and I needed the complete axle assembly. My intermediate shaft was damaged when separation occurred during accident, stripping the splines on both sections and broke broke bracket for carrier bearing.

Complete assembly, not Motorcraft but available:

Do tell…
As much as I enjoyed my SHOs (have had 3) and MKS Ecoboost, I would often find myself drooling over the sound of a nice V8. My son and girlfriend finally talked me into getting a fun car with a V8 since I have my truck for the bad weather. So I traded the MKS in on a Dodge Charger Daytona 392. It's definitely a different beast from the MKS. As a 4-door though I can still consider it semi-practical.

Dual overhead cam, twin turbo, direct injected V6 AWD vs large displacement old school pushrod V8 RWD. They couldn't be more opposite of each other.. :) Looks nice !

Very nice color. And, they do sound pretty great.

Let me know when you want to run em. ;)
Thanks. I'm not much of a "green" car person. The only other green car I've owned was my 1998 SHO. But I do like this color.

Since you list your best 1/4 mile time in your sig, you definitely have more experience than me and have achieved a faster ET than I've seen anyone achieve on the stock 392. I have 305s in the rear, but I still am pretty sure that won't make up for you having AWD. But I can come close and still have warranty coverage. :p

Already had issue with that company, only stockwiseauto lists that part correctly, it's for the FWD version unfortunately. I've contacted GSP and made them aware of all the different designs and updated design for the SHO in the hope they will start to manufacture our front right axle. There is a SHO that has been sitting at my local dealer for two months waiting on the same axle.
