Did the last couple for $85 which included shipping back to you. Currently I have standard carbon weave available and chopped carbon for the forged carbon look, either way is the same price though. I can do it on a brand new door, just add $50ish for the door purchase in case you want them interchangeable.

Swapped out my defunct alternator. Pretty miserable amount of work to shoehorn it in and out. Six and a half hours total. I was however ecstatic when my old one tested bad, and new one proved to correct all my issues.

I didn’t document anything but since I haven’t seen any info or mention of anyone swapping one out on the forum or even the internet for that matter I’ll do a little write up in a separate thread.

Hi Folks!!! I couldn't really think of a better place to post this. I've been posting on and off for a while and I'm finally about to progress on the car. I did do some great things to my SHO today and over the last few days. After sitting for nearly two years I've finally finished my shop so I can get her in and back to business!! So, where do people put their build threads? In short, I'm looking for advice while also documenting/sharing what I do to Eva(my 2013 PP), where is the best place to post?
Here she is finally getting uncovered and also wedged into the shop, then on the lift. I basically poured the concrete and installed the lift just to get this car back to life! Thanks

Thank You Dad mobile. Short story, low compression on cylinder one. Rolled the cams over and saw intake valves aren't stuck so I'm guessing rings
It wasn't making a whole lot of nose when I originally parked it.

Nice! I'm jealous of the shop, lol.

As for build threads, there are a few of us who have created one. Just create a new thread in the "Performance" section and go from there. Although it might be cool if a new sub-forum was started strictly for build threads.

Anyway, look forward to see what you do to her!

Yeah... Never thought I'd be in a spot where I would be wrenching away on a car, on a lift, in a short sleeve, while it's 10° out.
I've spent plenty a VT winters frozen to the ground working on $hit. I'd like to think I earned this one!!
The shop has made so many things possible. Picked up a 2011 fiesta that needed brakes and control arms. Without the lift I wouldn't have wasted the time. With the lift it was fixed in a couple hrs and total purchase with repairs ended up being 1000 bucks. Perfect car to teach my kid stick on.
Anyway, yeah I'm excited to finally get Eva back on the road.
My initial goal is looking like a built short block with reliable horsepower to hopefully get another 100k or of the car. May as well restore it to new while it's inside.

Heck ya man, it’s great when all that hard work and adulting pays off! I plan to sell my house during this insane market and move the country, build a shop, do redneck things...

Build yourself a garage first and live up above it while you build your house or you may never end up with a garage. That's why I ended up turning my shop into a shop that used to be a barn, LOL!
At least I won't get taxed on another building I suppose.

A ton of people do that around here, build the shop with a small living space then you have a nice guest area when the house is all done!

I feel your pain. We moved almost 3 years ago and last weekend I finally finished my shop. Now I just need to clean up the mess I've created moving everything around. I sealed/polished the concrete, ran 100A service and fully wired it, ran water to the building (will bring it inside this summer since the inspector is gone), fully sealed and foamboard insulated it, and installed a pellet stove for heat in the winter, and 3 ceiling fans to move some air.

I've been watching everyone having fun with their SHO for the past 6-9 months. I'm ready to have some fun of my own.

Sadly no lift in my shop (yet). I'm hoping I'll come across a shop that's upgrading and sell me something nice for a grand or so.

You should definitely check out Facebook marketplace and Craigslist for two and four post lifts. They aren’t abundant but they are on there.

Thanks. I'm in no hurry to get one. Even doing a good portion of this myself and price shopping everything (FB foam insulation, CL used ceiling fans, etc) I still went way over budget. The wifey's flower bed is next, then a fire pit for the back yard before I get any more toys.
