She is happy, and just chillin in the garage. She needs an oil change. I also need to pull the front clip off and relocate the splitter rods. So there is work to be done, the question is....am I motivated to do it?

I did some accidental weight reduction to my SHO over the weekend...





I was walking around the car and my sleeve caught the top corner of the door keypad thing and it just exploded.

Is this the correct replacement part - https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts/ford-applique-driver-s-side-lh-cg1z5420555cb

Anyone know where to get a cheap one at?

I bought mine for like $40 from rock auto. I had the same thing happen a week after I bought my car.

I was cruising down the highway driving from Maryland to Texas, had the sunroof open - feeling the wind going through my hair. I remember it well, I listening to an audio book of Fast n’ Furious: Tokyo Drift(gotta rep Texas!) I basically just listen them so I can learn about tuning.
Anyways, I suddenly heard a noise that sounded like I ran over a can or something and didn’t think much of it. A few hundred miles down the road I pulled over while listening to Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw this made sense since Ford has a lot of British styling these days. Anyways, I saw it while getting gas.

Worst part is I had to drive through Dallas and Waco lookin all hoopty, damnit Ford!

I tried searching through Rockauto but can't find the right part, that said, there search engine kinda sucks.

I couldn’t find it in my email. According to my wife I bought it from dealer, it all blends together. I do remember it being around $40 though. Have you checked with the dealer yet?

*edit Mine was passenger side. Yours looks like drive side which has the touch less door code thang (more $) that people stopped using in 2005. Don’t know why Ford is still putting these on cars!

There's no way you are talking about the keypad.

I literally only carry my phone because everything else is locked in the vehicle and if I'm gonna be in or near water, it gets locked in as well.

If someone wants to borrow the vehicle, I set up a temporary code and leave keys in the console. Give em the code and cha-ching!

No, I abandoned the project. I am not going to put any more money into the SHO going forward (except gas and maintenance) as I set up her departure. Depending on what goes on with the the Game Stonk Casino, she might be leaving earlier than planned.

Just broke something... accelerated ******* a stop sign and muffler or flex pipe broke, besides the noise, didn't really notice anything else. Gonna check it tonight, fingers crossed its not something bad.

After seeing @GotGrip? make a Kevlar fuel door I asked if he wanted to make me a regular carbon fiber one and he took on the task. I received it last week and put it on over the weekend and I love it! I think it goes well with my Magnetic Metallic paint. Thanks again Joe!

As suspected, flex pipe broke... placed it back in place so no pulls till I get it replaced
