Since the cat is out of the bag. @bpd1151 contacted me about purchasing his slighty used FS HPFP. As you can see he upgraded to an XDI60. I needed a pump and we agreed on a price that both of us benefited on. The reward vs risk was worth it to me, and I got to help out a friend. However, that pump resides under the sound reduction foam that I modified, and under the stock SHO engine cover. If I can't see it, it isn't there correct?

Just be patient and understand black is hard to make perfect......

Not even mine is perfect, however it looks good when it is all done....for about 40 mins.

Agreed, black is a real bear to keep clean/swirl free. When you can it looks amazing, but its probably the hardest color to work on.

To be honest the FS Pump does work well. I have nothing but praise for it, and it has transformed my SHO once again, to the point where I am entertaining getting the GH upgraded turbos. I think a 500 hp/600 tq SHO is in the cards.

I truly wonder if LMS made the FS pump, or it is just rebranded.... wonder how we can find out.

I knew it would be difficult to maintain, I even test drove a white and a grey one but they looked average to me.

Now I get unnecessarily angry when it rains, or when I have to go through construction or a dirt road.

So back before the XDI launched, I inquired to LMS to become a dealer for the Firestorm. They were more than willing to allow me a dealer account on any of their OTHER products (the rebranded stuff) but they would not allow me to become a dealer for the FS pump, nor would they give me the tuning data to support it.

I do believe that they actually designed this in house, and talking with Uwe back in the day he tried to get them to sell his pump and when they refused they became his main competitor.

Yeah, I would have gotten meteor gray, pearl white, or red. I never wanted a black car before and while I do love my car, I really want to wrap/dip the car a different color.

If they can rebrand stuff so can you! Just get some sandpaper and an engraver tool and you can have a pump made by anyone your heart desires.

The one night is rains in AZ is the night the SHO had to stay outside. I went out the next morning and was bent....

Mine lives outside no matter what. The toys take up the garage. Does the ceramic coating make cleanup easier? Specifically water spots?
