Wow. There it is.

The new Green Oak transmission definitions are now live in HP Tuners Beta.
The two big additions are:
• TV Pressure Slope – Non Shifting
• TV Pressure Intercept – Non Shifting
These define the base clutch holding pressure when the transmission is not actively shifting.
The logic is essentially:
TV Pressure = (Engine Torque × Slope) + Intercept
Then, during a shift, the shift-specific pressure tables are added on top of that base pressure.
That distinction matters because it separates two completely different jobs:
1. Static clutch holding capacity
2. Shift apply pressure during the handoff
The slope determines how much additional pressure is commanded as engine torque increases.
Here are my changed values compared to OEM as they were hidden in the tunes before I exposed them. OEM has a light violet background in the value using the compare file function:




Simple example:
If a clutch circuit has:
Slope = 0.60 psi per lb-ft
Intercept = 60 psi
At 400 lb-ft:
400 × 0.60 = 240 psi
240 + 60 = 300 psi base TV pressure
That is the pressure request used to hold the clutch once the gear is established.
The separate shift pressure and ramp tables then control how pressure is introduced during the actual clutch-to-clutch handoff.
This is why simply raising shift pressure or changing fill time is not the same as increasing established clutch capacity.
In my case, the Kevlar clutches appeared to need more static holding pressure at higher torque. The goal was to increase established holding capacity without deleting the factory shift timing, fill, offgoing-clutch, or protection logic.
That allowed us to treat the actual problem directly:
• Preserve the OEM shift choreography
• Preserve fill and timing logic
• Increase pressure as torque rises
• Increase established clutch holding capacity
• Avoid using aggressive shift pressure as a substitute for insufficient static pressure
These definitions came from the A2L, were rebuilt into an XDF for validation, and were then added by Johnny Powers to official Green Oak support.
