Is that a particular brand?AMSOIL
Yes. That redline is solid for the PTU for sure, and there’s nothing wrong with motocraft, but amsoil is top shelf fluids all around. It’s pricey, but well worth it.Is that a particular brand?
Redline LWSP is great, I have to in the PTU and RDU. For the PTU it takes roughly 18 Oz. They come in quarts to one is enough. I get it off Amazon.Redline LW shockproof oil x1 - PTU
Mercon LV x1 - Trans
Motocraft yellow x4 - Coolant
Those look good^? Quantity?
The knock is still there faintly. The oil is clean...so I just keep sending it. The new motor is just chilling in its plastic wrap, in its box, on a pallet in front of the Lexus."Lexus Update: Revision was a major improvement in drivability, responsiveness, and the bump in power. So far so good."
SM is the knock in the engine still there? or have you installed the new engine block?
Frank
Kamikaze runs FTW!The knock is still there faintly. The oil is clean...so I just keep sending it. The new motor is just chilling in its plastic wrap, in its box, on a pallet in front of the Lexus.

I have zero Idea honestly. We are going to find out together lol.SM,
Just curious, how long will the tank last on a hot day?

I just assumed the bigger bottle creates more pressure. When I open the valve the solenoid doesn't work. When I crack the valve it does. Going to remedy the situation with bigger solenoid.Your bottles have different pressures? Normally size is just volume. Like on our SCBA, we pressurize them all to 4500 psi. To go from a 30 minute bottle to a 1 hour bottle, it just changes diameter.
Is there a gauge on the bottle that tells you what pressure it is at? If you are using their solenoid, it should be good to 1000 psi. I am almost wondering if it is a volume issue. No matter how much the valve is open, it should be the same pressure. Cracking the valve would allow a lower volume vs. being fully open.I just assumed the bigger bottle creates more pressure. I don't have a pressure gauge on my bottle. It is a big 20lb fountain beverage CO2 bottle. We do run regulators on them at the place I liberated my bottle from. Thinking about buying a pump and just transferring from big to small. Is there a gauge on the bottle that tells you what pressure it is at?
