Unless they're planning to do a separate Y-pipe for header applications, which I don't think is in the cards, you're going to be cutting the Y-pipe and doing some fabrication to make the headers fit.

As for "flanges to bolt to the Y-pipes" - I strongly suggest using V-band flanges and clamps, eg:

http://store.racing-solutions.org/vbands.html

Key here when putting them on the pipe is to have the pipe project from one side of the ****** by at least 1/4in or so to hold the ****** in axial alignment during assembly.

They will be open ended pipes but they will slip together like th rest of the y-pipe. We will be able to offer some band clamps so they will still separate.

There shouldn't be much fabrication involved, I will check on it.

The pipes are done so I will be picking them up and start shipping them soon.

Now, I understand that a lot of municipalities seem to have a jones for preventing the Camaro-on-cinder-blocks-in-the-front-yard look so common in...uh, upcountry Hawaii. But some of these laws go way beyond any sense of rationality.

We cleaned up after every day of working, and I can easily say that we have the cleanest house for blocks. We wash all 5 cars once a week, mow the lawn every week, sweep/blow the driveway, sidewalk, and the side "car-port" at least once a month. And they also had the audacity to cite us for "storage of inoperable/ or unregistered vehichles" and "junk or rubbish being stored on the property". As a household we pay over $2,500 a year to insure and register all of our vehichles. You can clearly see the bright yellow 2010 registration sticker of the 94. Now just look at our neighbors house: weeds over 3ft tall, we have had to cut it multiple times our selves be cause it grows over the property line, chickens and roosters(used for **** fighting). The animals cause a horrible problem with flies in the summer as well as mosquitos, not to mention the rats! The county wants $470 if they find anything wrong when they come in 2 weeks to re-inspect. Ugh, I'm so ******, but back to the y-pipes.

You probably have a neighbor who turned you in. Unless it is really bad, most cities don't go out looking for violations. That would explain why the neighbor with the barnyard got a pass; no one turned him in.

I had a similar situation happen about 15 years ago. I was in a neighborhood and had a small utility trailer parked beside my house on a gravel side driveway. Actually it was parked on the gravel between the forms I set up to pour a concrete side drive (concrete due in a week). One of the overly controlling neighbors turned us in because you were only allowed to park on concrete or asphalt. It was pretty obvious I was putting in concrete, but they still had to write me up since someone complained.

I will get off the sympathy rant, and back to business. I talked to Matt last night, and he is starting to box up and ship the Y-pipes next week. You will get tracking information as soon as each one ships.

Yup, and I'll be helping with the packaging and shipping this week. That should be worth an ATX y-pipe right? :theyareontome: On a brighter note, Matt and I got all the suspension parts in yesterday, and today. Thanks again SHOSource :thumb:.

Oh, and the bias plugs fixed my caliper dragging issue.
