They are in work right now and they are welding up the flanges.

You can pay for the ATX y-pipe but we are waiting on more orders. Several more.

Bump on the Long Tube Header Buy.

We need 8 minimum to make the group buy happen. SHO Source is willing to buy 3 sets. We have one paid customer. That means we only need four more in the buy, and we will make the headers. They are ready to go, so there will be no delay before going to fab. There are at least two that have said they would join to make the buy happen. Are there two others so we can get it going?

Should I start a separate thread for the headers? Is this getting confused with the y-pipe buy?

Bueller? Bueller? Anyone?

On these headers, will they have flanges to bolt to the y-pipes, or will there just be the ends of the tubing like in the pics on the shosource page?

Unless they're planning to do a separate Y-pipe for header applications, which I don't think is in the cards, you're going to be cutting the Y-pipe and doing some fabrication to make the headers fit.

As for "flanges to bolt to the Y-pipes" - I strongly suggest using V-band flanges and clamps, eg:

http://store.racing-solutions.org/vbands.html

Key here when putting them on the pipe is to have the pipe project from one side of the ****** by at least 1/4in or so to hold the ****** in axial alignment during assembly.

Do you think a flex pipe is necessary with the V-Band clamp?

Absolutely; the V-band ****** doesn't allow (or it shouldn't allow...) any flex in the pipe. Try to flex it at the ****** too much and you'll probably stretch the clamp strap enough to cause a leak.

The headers will work with the catless y-pipes but might take some work for catted or a custom y-pipe. We will have to find out.

On the first page Matt wrote this^^^^ It looks like it depends what ypipe you buy. Hopefully everything will work out.

yeah but this is a thread about SHO Source headers and SHO Source y pipes......

of course it might not bolt up to a Magnaflow or FPS y pipe.......

on another note

man I hope you guys get your materials together and ship these damn things already.... I got some cars to race!

thanks for making this group buy for us, and its just another example of SHO Source being a good place to go for the SHO.........
