SHO Source Y-Pipes and Headers Group Buy

Well maybe we will have to get that picture up!

We are having to cancel the ATX group buy.

This is because we have very few orders (only 3) and we need at least 15. This would allow us to make tooling and get these made for the ATX. The only reasonably priced ATX y-pipe. So unless we get more orders it is dead.

first of all that is completely uncalled for attacking fellow shoforum members.
Second, that list contains people for BOTH atx and mtx y-pipes. Some of those members(including myself) have paid and the list wasn't updated to say who had already paid and who has not. For those who didn't pay, i am sure there was some sort of financial reason that prevented them from doing so or took them longer to pay(including me) then they said they would have. SHO parts, i am guessing, is not at the top of the list. Although some people are a little better at managing their finances then others.

your complete dis-respect for other members is the type of sh*t that brings down forums. Alot of people here actually have a few more friends that they have personally got to know becuz of SHOFORUM. We are a close group of people on this forum, and calling out other members is just like you are calling everybody out.

My applogies to you. List edited. Somepeople are men of there word. Some are not. If somthing came up, they could have asked to be removed instead of stringing people out.

Well good news!

I took my SHO in for fitment of the MTX y-pipe and there were adjustments to be made! So the next y-pipes should fit better.

Parts have been ordered and we are next in line. Production should start next week.

Also if we can get a few more orders for the headers we can do a small run on the headers but we need the orders ASAP.

These are going to be made to fit the stock catback. Really no room for improving the collector.

According to the guy who is going to be making the pipes, you'd have to go back farther, and it could not be done without doing some fabrication to the catback. SHOSource just wants a simple replacement solution. As it is, it gives 11 to wheels, and for the price they are asking, that's a darn good gain.

I've seen the guys work, and he's really good at what he does. I'm considering having him do a pipe for my ATX with an improved collector after the first of the year.

yeah, **** all we would have to do is cut a small section of pipe out of our stock catback and move the ****** back slightly to accommodate the slightly longer y pipe. That is unless of course the shifter is in the way.

I talked to the guy about it and the issue is to make it a universal pipe for both catless and catted as well as fit to the stock catback an improved collector can not be done. He does agree that it would be great to have but it can be done.

Also the gains are already around 11hp already, how much more do you really think you will get from it?

To do 1 off pipes will be pricey due to the custom tooling and setup required and might double the price.

We are doing our best here to make good y-pipes that everyone can use. I am sorry we can not meet every expectation and every need.

I understand. I just thought that since the pipe is shipped in pieces, it would be easy to throw in an extra piece. I'd be willing to pay a little extra if that is what it comes down to.
