So I went out to measure mine and its 1/8" thick and I reread your previous post and from the look of your measurements the EPP box you measured was 1/16" thick not 1/8" but maybe I'm wrong.

Epp air box is only about 2 month old somebody let me borrow one in January and it was definitely thicker and heavier than this one so I guess Epp went with a lighter material.. I'll send you a PM

So yesterday I finished up the air box cover turned it into a kit packed it up sending it out to Nova today.. Nova will be my tester for this product once all bugs are worked out if any I will be making more

This is the only screw that holds it down. It screws into the plastic front support above left headlight
Doesn't look pretty just wait until nova does his fantastic wrapping job then it will look nice..

I placed on the bottom weatherstripping seal
This is what would be in the kit of course the top lid, 4 bolts, nuts, locking washers, brackets and weatherstripping which will be on the inside of the box and one screw to hold it down.
I also made a custom piece for the stock EPP box that has the Gap between the engine bay and box that will funnel all the air into the air-box.
