When I did my engine/tranny swap, I got the stainless lines for SHONUT as well...and am very glad I did.

Hi there,

Sorry for bumping a relic but I have a question about the brake distribution block.

How can that part be bypassed if it is lines going into it are defective? How does it actually work?

The black block is simply a black piece of plastic that holds female unions to join the top lines that go to the ABS module to the bottom lines that go to the rear of the car and the passenger brake. There's no value in trying to bypass it.

If the lines in the top are defective, simply replace those top lines with our stainless pre-bent hard lines that come with the unions that go in the black block. If the bottom lines are defective, but the top lines are good, simply replace the bottom lines with our stainless pre-bent hard lines that come with the male fittings that go into the unions held in the black block. Or better yet, just replace both top and bottom lines and then you won't have to mess with that again.
