Checked the cam sensor and it's not wet and adjustment is fine timing in correct put on another dis spare coil caused heavy misfire grounded dis with extra ground wire checked fuel pressure and couldn't get it to rev normally but it don't hunt for an idle anymore I'm about to give up and park it

you still need to deal with the crank sensor.

Never put a used crank sensor on a car. It will not last. It doesn't matter how new is was, it will fail much quicker. I speak from experience, and just would like to save you the hassle of doing it numerous times. Furthermore, even though you 'checked' it for gap and cleanliness, the code is still there for a reason, and it needs to be replaced.

So I installed the crank sensor off a known running engine and still exact same symptoms cleared codes and drove it a couple blocks and no codes pop up just 511 and 111

Double check the seating of the tweecer...maybe even pull it out and see how it runs.

I'll double check it but I did notice the harness end to the computer the bolt is stripped out and also found this today the connector to my coil had been cut and put back together by twisting the wires and electrical tape looked solid but makes me wonder what else had been done. I know it's not the original engine on it

just twisting the wires and taping is not a secure electrical connection under the hood, no matter how solid it looks. that is part of your problem. It needs to be cleaned and soldered or at least cleaned and butt spliced together so that the electrical connection has a low resistance.

I cleaned it and did butt connectors for now but I want to know how much more was done that way. Am I better off putting in a new harness or stripping mine down to inspect it

Disconnected the tweecer and started it. Didn't want to idle and super rich but still won't rev past 4-5k I have been looking over the harness and not finding any more cuts I'm going to keep looking and I'm also not pulling any more codes

Sounds like the same issue Im dealing with; doesnt want to idle and long delay in throttle response. Going to start digging in mine this week.

Update I noticed my fuel pump is loud whining and pulsing when primes and won't hold pressure when engine is not running it starts dropping right after the pump stops

See if Rockauto still has the Delphi pump on closeout. It's the Walbro pump.

Pump has a check valve in it that should hold pressure for a while. Also look at a leaking injector as well. My Probe had a problem with an injector leaking down causing a rough idle on hot restarts until the extra fuel burned off.

Best way to check for leaking injector is to simply pull the spark plugs after engine shutdown. If you get a heavy fuel smell when a particular plug is taken out, that's the faulty injector.

long delay in throttle response on fuel injected engines is often due to a lean condition. this could be due to low fuel pressure / bad pump, but is more likely on these engines to be due to a sick tps (flat spot on the resistance curve or similar).
