Anyone see the remanufactured crankshaft from rockauto thats $212+ shipping. Looks to be for 3.0 and 3.2. There the same crank right? Seems pretty cheap for an SHO crank with all the bearings and such. Main bearings alone are hard to find and $160+ when you do, and rod bearings are $45+. Says cleaned and precision ground. Is it for real? My crank has a scratch where the front seal is and forever leaks slowly there. I can get a reman crank and all the bearings for an sho for under $250, seems kinda unreal!

We Can Only Hope

The picture is wrong and is for a V8. The picture might be a Chevrolet V8 crank.

If the crank has been turned, I am sure that it hasn't been heat treated. This wouldn't be a big deal in an N/A application though. The bearings would also be undersized.

Great post, and very helpful if it turns out to be authentic.
This will be the salvation of many cars.
Thanks for the information, and it is nice to see some parts prices that make sense.

Bought it, came in. Looks really really nice! Came with all rod bearings and main bears and even those gold colored rings. Heres a pic. Reason I wanted a nice refurbished crank is the front seal leaked even with new seal, it was scratched and rear seal leaked to. Now this new crank has nice smooth surface on both sides and will seal nicely.

Can you confirm if the mains or rods are undersize? The bearings should be marked.

But yeah, that looong snout sure looks right to me.

GET THIS!!! The bearings are Clevite, .25mm size. Both main and rod. Those alone cost $230 and hard to find. $250 I got the bearings, and a really nice crank and trust washers!! Heres a better pic
