So ive been seing this mod around and really liked the idea, so i bought a dvd player and went at it. It wasnt really as hard as i expected, and everything seemed to work out pretty good. I had to cut a little where the eatc used to be to get the dvd players cage in there. Im so much happier with the screen up there, it looks so much better and the back seat passengers can see now.

i just relized i posted this in the wrong area...sorry

I noticed this once when someone on here did the stereo/ eatc swap: also swap the fog lights and antenna switch.

That is really cool!!!:thumb: Would you post up some pics of the whole center deal with the EATC. How difficult were the wires to coax to their new locations? Were they long enough? Again, great job!

i would switch the antenna and the rear defrost locations, i dunno why but it would look more tied together IMHO. good job on the swap!

Everything worked out great. The wires and all vacume lines were just long enough to get the EATC in the bottom opening. It was acctually pretty easy to get it all together. If you try this youll find it easier to mount the EATC in the bottom opening due to mounting options. There is a slide type thing that the coin tray and cup holder slid into and i just hooked somthin up to that. As for visability, there are no problems at all. I still reach down by the shifter to turn the volume up and down though...lol, itll take some gettin used to

here ya go...if you notice the EATC is behind the plastic bezel. I did it like that instead of cutting the mounting tabs off the side to get it to fit. I would really recomend this mod. Anyone with basic tools and a couple hours could do this.
