Hello all,

I bought a 2013 PP back in January. My brother had an original MTX and I have wanted a SHO for many years. Car had 66k on it now sits at 70k. Completely stock when I bought it, so far I've added an EPP noisemaker eliminator pipe, coilovers, transmission mounts, and flowmaster fx mufflers. Have plans for more upgrades as time and $ allow.

Last night I was getting into some maintenance - oil change, tire rotation, transmission drain and fill, air filter. Decided to do the PTU and RDU as well seeing as I highly doubt they've ever been done.

When I was under the car looking at the PTU I noticed some oil on the bottom of the rear turbo. I did change the oil when I got the car, and I check it periodically, it has never been low. I've never seen so much as a drop on my garage floor.

I did some research and searching, saw a few posts about leaking oil supply lines and a service bulletin years ago.

Based on the picture does anyone have any ideas other than the supply line? I just noticed this late last night the car is still on stands in my basement.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I’m experiencing the exact same thing on my 13 PP. During an oil change at a Ford service shop 10k miles ago, they showed me oil dripping from my passenger side turbo and said it would need replaced. I’ve monitored my fluid levels and not seen any impact, although I do seem to drip some oil in my parking spots. I have not noticed any performance issues. Thank you Kevin - I’m waiting with bated breath for someones knowledgeable response.

Hello,

I posted the same post in general discussion and got a couple responses, I'll try to link below.

I decided to get a a JLT 3.0 air / oil separator and a hotpipe kit from ecopowerparts to see if that will mitigate the problem, but it be a while before I can get around to installing the hotpipes. I'm hoping the catch can will get most of the **** by and the higher quality silicone couplers that come with the hotpipe kit for the outlet side of the turbo will keep any more oil from escaping at higher boost. It's just such a small amount of oil I don't believe the supply line is leaking, I've never seen a drop on my garage floor and I've never been low on oil. But I've also not had Ford look at it I do my own oil changes. Hope this helps.
