Hello all. I am looking at buying a 2016 Taurus Interceptor. I have a 2015 SHO that I bought that was abandoned. With a donor car to use, how completely can the Interceptor be converted into a SHO? They are both black which helps. The Interceptor only has 90k miles on it for $3500 so it is hard to pass up. I can look up individual guides on how to do wiring and such. I just would like to know if there are any things that just can't be done. Thanks

I guess to start with, are you sure the Interceptor you're looking at has the 3.5L GTDI EcoBoost engine? They were available with the normally aspirated V6 as well.... Also, why are you wanting to convert the Interceptor to an SHO versus getting the 2015 SHO back on the road?

What engine in the PI? Is the SHO a PP or non PP? You'll be testing your organizational skills to the max because nearly everything will need to be swapped. And to what end? You'll have a pieced together car that isn't worth what an unmolested one is worth. As SHOrod asked, why not just fix the SHO?
