Good morning all, I'll keep the intro brief as I already did it in the appropriate spot before: https://shoforum.com/threads/new-member-new-issues.147767/
Background on the rig: 2013 Taurus Interceptor, 3.5TT w/ PP. Ex-Michigan State Police car, more history to come on that part at a later date. Picked it up a year and a half ago, been loving everything but the fuel economy (who does?).
Further diagnosing after my intro post has led to the conclusion of: The front turbo's wastegate (on the housing itself) was stuck, overboosted (but somehow didn't throw a CEL), blew apart the front recirc valve, and has been perpetually keeping the car in a sort of soft limp mode. I've since worked the gate free, and can confirm that it moves its full range of motion under the correct amount of pressure.
HOWEVER It's not back to normal yet, so more diagnosing and forum-combing is required, but I certainly can't thank you all enough for the wisdom on here.
