Hello everyone, new to the forum, old to having a SHO.
After having a well used high mileage 2013 Ruby Red PP and replacing the turbos once.. or twice. I decided this time I'd tear down the 2013 and buy a newer, cleaner 2016+.
I bought the '13 at 167k and drove it to 206k, was stock with the Livernois Stage 1 Package and I loved every mile.. It's incredible how much better the car is with so little changes. And to clarify the Livernois package was not the issue and I will be buying their T500 package for the new car. As I'm buying a newer SHO, I decided to complete a cousin's and my dream of building a dune buggy/exocar with the '13.
Does anyone have any knowledge/guidance on building a car like this? I'm torn between the exocar and building an entire frame around the full powertrain I still have. My cousin and I are more than capable of the work, just looking for some guidance/discussion.
As I'm parting out most of the vehicle, I'm trying to keep all of the powertrain and associated electrical components.. I hope I don't miss any critical items that change the build from plug and play - to a diagnostic nightmare.
