In the process of changing the oil feed line to the rear turbo on a 2014 SHO PP. I have followed the procedure from Ford and got all the way to the point where I need to remove the T45 bolt going to the turbo.
Any tips on getting this out? I have tried a 3/8" drive T45 socket with extensions and also tried a universal joint on it and it seems like the exhaust manifold is covering enough of the bolt that I cannot get a socket in it.
I have seen alot of guys drop the turbo but I have seen a few people that have done it without and would highly prefer to not have to pull or drop the turbo.

Any advice? If you have done it without dropping the turbo, what socket/extensions did you use?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Did you take it out completely?
Or was unbolting the turbo from the manifold enough to get enough play to get to the oil line bolt? I am hoping that route might work?

Unbolt the turbo from the manifold and convertor and bracket and it will push back far enough to change the line...it still is a pain and will hurt your arms and chest...
