rear tail lights and wiring issue

I have a 90 sho. And got the amber turn rear turn signals and only after installing them I realized that my 90 SHO rear turn signals were a two bulb connection. Where as the amber turn signals are a three bulb connection

Any suggestions easiest way to convert ?

The 90 should have two power wires for the double filament bulb. Your going to have to spice a turn signal power and ground from your harness.

I got the two bulbs and wiring harness that goes into the turn indicator .... the harness has a solid black wire and a black wire with a red line running down... I assume you just ground the solid black wire and connect the hot black with the red line to the turn indicator that goes to the current double fillament bulb on the existing wiring harness

Correct ?

That would be my best guess.
I'd confirm with a test light or multimeter before cutting.
