I went to a machine shop today to get the bearing for my lower idler pulley pressed in and when I got home I realized they put the large disc portion on the wrong side, when I put the pulley back on it's on the backside and the bearing's exposed. Is that plate meant to keep the bearing held in there? Will I have to worry about it walking out after a while? It seems fine for now and it's pressed in so I'm not really worried about it popping out immediately but I do have to ask, it's gnawing at me. Thanks! :thankyou:

The ATX lower idler pulley, I'll throw the SHO Source link up for it (which I'll be getting next time, preinstalled, if there is a next time)

The outer part is the actual pulley that the belt rides on, the middle part is two pieces, a center section and a disc that's pressed on one end of it, you can see it in the picture. I can't really take a picture of mine right now because it's facing the engine the wrong way :woo-hoo: I've been driving it and it seems fine, I'm just worried about the pulley or some part of it walking off the bearing somewhere down the road.
