My headunit has full power, and the harness is spliced right with the speaker wires. Any ideas why no sound? If the speakers were blown wouldn't i have some noise? BTW it's a 91 w/JBL and a JVC headunit. THANKS

if you used the aftermarket wiring harness, then there is one wire you need to clip. im not for sure, but im thinking its blue/red or maybe just blue. i had the same problem when i installed a Sony unit in my truck. called Sony, they told me exactly what it was. snip, tape, have sound.

Also, check to make sure you have your AMP Power wire connected (if your headunit has it). I had that problem when I installed my Pioneer HU in the SHO the first time. Power to the HU, no speaker output at all. I didn't use an amp bypass, and didn't connect the wire that will turn the amp on, therefore, no sound. If you have no amp power wire and used an amp bypass, then you're SOL shrug
