Power Antenna

Has anyone tried to rewire or make a switch for the power antenna to go up only when you're using the radio and not everytime you turn on the sound system?

Yes I did. Just run some light gauge twin conductor wire back to the antenna. Cut the antenna power wire and splice in the two wires. I ran mine down the door sills. Take out the back seat rear to easily get it into the trunk.
