my 92 SHO is miss firing and has huge loss of power when check engine light is off. but when check engine light is on all power to the engine is restored.

ive had spark test (good) fuel test (good) and compression test (good). replaced spark plug wires, coil, and spark plugs. and the computer is telling me that there is an open ground and the fuel pump
relay has a bad ground. and ive fixed all possible open grounds, and replaced the fuel pump relay. and i still have the power loss problem when the check engine light is off.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS?
SEND ME A MESSAGE OF WHAT YOU THINK OF WHAT IT MIGHT BE AND I'LL TRY IT. THANK YOU!

If you can, try swapping the ECU. I had a '92 that would hesitate and stumble with any throttle between 1500-2500, but run strong anywhere else. It also wouldn't start when the car was warm. I tried swapping a ton of different parts before swapping the ECU (which is what it turned out being).

What does a ECU usually cost for the 91's?

Can we get a mod to please close this thread? There's already a thread in the right section and this is kinda ******** to have two threads about the same topic progressing parallel to each other...
