PLEASE HELP, 1 Quick question

Do i really need vaps? I was working on pressure switch and accidentally pulled the four wires that go to vaps, tried driving around a little, seemed ok, but what i need to know is this a bad thing, am i going to lose steering or anything crazy like that? 93 atx btw if it matters.

You don't need it, but the steering might feel too light or too heavy in certain situations, depending on where the vaps is at now.

If you killed it with the car off it'll be stuck on full assist.
