Just picked up a '10 and was wondering how to tell if it has the PP? I read somewhere that you couldn't get the luxury package and PP in '10? Is there an options list they put in like my '04 Avalanche in the glovebox? Thanks in advance for your help.

If your SHO has 19 inch wheels, it doesn't have the PP.
If it has 20 inch wheels with Goodyears, no spare tire but with an inflating kit, then it has the PP.
Also, PP SHOs in 2010 were not available with the Automatic Cruise Control option (ACC).

Not sure about the 2010 PP but on my 2012 that I just picked up the PP includes an extra "sport" setting that by pushing the traction control button twice it puts it in a sport setting and indicates such on the dash display.

Michelin mxv4 tires that are 20"...no adaptive cruise...I have a spare tire. I guess I don't have the PP. now the question is...if you don't have a spare tire, what keeps the cardboard floor from collapsing under weight? Thanks guys.

Anyone have any more info on that extra sport setting?

Bring the car to a complete stop, keep the brake pedal depressed, push the traction button and keep it pressed for about 5 secs, and Advance Trac goes completely off. I can't remember the exact differences between the settings, but I understand this is the "shut it off completely" mode. Pressing it once or twice gives you kind of a medium "sport" setting...sorry for not having all the details. Geez. This is the car that keeps me coming back to the manual so often...but I actually like that.

Is that 2012 or 2010-2011 also?

Right, only the cars with the Performance Package get the "Sport" and "Off" settings for the stability control. It's described in the owner's manual.

I've got a '12 with PP. In the manual it says press once for off & twice for sport mode. Sport mode is the everything's off mode, apparently.

You are right. I was confusing Traction Control Off with Advancetrac Off. The manual states hold Traction Control button for 5 seconds and it will say Advancetrac OFF, which is what you want.
