So I hit the dyno on the way home with the new tune. Put down 246whp and 214ftlbs. Overall I was pretty happy with it. I will be fattening it up in the lower rpm to gain some torque and to make it safer. Also going to open the secondaries a little sooner. Overall I gained 4 ftlbs and 13whp. Here is the graph showing the new vs the old.

Nice numbers what mods are you running?

The intake is a 80mm Maf, 69mm tb, PnP intake with bbb and a set of Triflows. Exhaust is a shosource cat less y with dynomax catback. I also have udp and a 17lb flywheel.

Pretty good numbers.... Well worth the mods... may have to start looking into the tri-flows myself.

Yeah, yours runs real strong....proof that you can build a 300 chp sho. Yours has the +40's, right? You don't happen to have a dyno graph for comparison sake (just curiousity really)? I am hoping to wringe another 4 hp out of it. 250 would be awesome. Maybe I'll go back this fall when it's 50 degrees out.

When do you have your secondaries opening? You may want them to open later. You really want it to be a linear increase, you shouldn't feel the 'jolt' of them opening. I've heard of people doing a pull with them open, and a pull with them closed, and where the graphs overlap, set them to open then. In my stage 1 car I had them opening at ~4200.

Looking at my graph, I would think they need to open earlier. There is a noticable jump in torque/hp when they open. To me this means that the engine is starving for air, so the secondaries need to open earlier. If you were to see a drop in torque/hp when they opened, then it would mean that the engine was not at the point of needing the extra air, so you would have them open later.

Doing two pulls like you stated seems like it would give you the optimal secondary opening rpm.
