Hi Everyone,
I just got a reman starter from Autozone (12 tooth DL3295S) for my 93 MTX. My memory has faded as to which wires go where. There is a positive alternator wire, positive battery terminal wire and negative battery terminal wire. I also have a two wires coming down from what seems to be the ignition and high voltage fuse box. One is small gauge, the other is a larger gauge positive wire. I tested the smaller wire for voltage when the clutch and key are engaged and received 12 volts. I also have constant 12+ volts on all the positive wires. I wired all the positive wires to the outer solenoid post and kept the braided wire from the solenoid to the starter motor free of any wires. I attached the negative battery wire to the lower starter mounting bolt (I remember that being there). Finally I attached the small wire to the male spade post on the solenoid. Still no start...but I do hear what seems to be a relay clicking in the engine bay. Any help would be much appreciated. (I did search the forums before I posted this and can't find anymore helpful information.)
Thanks,
Adam
