Notes:
We had volunteers appointed to help organize next year's events, namely Spring / Fall car SHOws, Road Course Events, furthering the Autocross schedule, Winter Karting, and Drag Racing.

The Driver's Championship will likely be resurrected for 2004, more details to follow as we establish the driving event schedule.

A current member list will be updated, and actual membership cards will be going out shortly. Membership cards will be used for NESHOC-affiliated vendor sponsors who offer club members discounts.

The club will remain (refocused) about the SHO, and not become an autocross club as feared. As in years past, SHO ownership is certainly not a requirement.

More & different events will be posted for 2004. We STRONGLY encourage members to sign up for & attend these events. Pricing for events will favor club members (wherever possible).

More frequent meetings... Next major meeting will be in the April '04 timeframe, to coincide with the Spring Car SHOw. A winter Karting-coinciding smaller meeting is possible & is being targeted.

NESHOC members are invited to attend the F1 Boston Karting date sponsored 11/30 by the SVT Cobra Mustang Club. Info will be posted on NESHOC.com tomorrow. These usually end up happening mid-month every month during the winter, so plan accordingly. Pat Madigan will give as much notice as possible (up to a month).

More technical focus will be given to the newsletter wherever possible. We actively encourage members to submit articles, questions, whatever to the Newsletter for submission. A link for newsletter submissions will be posted on the website.

The Topica.com NESHOC mailing list is going to be resurrected if possible. If successful, this may become one of the primary means of communication for NESHOC members. More news on that later.

We're going to try to get some Club Social events together also. Stay tuned for that. If you have suggestions, we're open to hear them.

Hey Fellas, I've got to say I had a great time. Erics idea for breakfast was the best. Good food, great company. Glad I made the trip, again.

One thing though, when is Pats' Mustang coming off the NESHOC homepage so I can get a shot of my Van up there??? :D

Looking forward to the next one!

*Just checked the NESHOC site, and saw Fred has taken care of it...

Hey Chris, the Spring Car Show thing is going to be up for April, as is a to-be-scheduled Dyno Day, so as soon as you guys come up with a date & rain date for the show / meeting, I'll firm up the date for the Dyno. Thanks!

Did I mention I had a good time? Thanks Fred, I guess my car does move along pretty good for a stocker... at least that's what I thought until I looked up and caught a glimpse of "STORMTROOPER" in my mirror, followed by a roar reminiscent of my days on the flightline with A10's roaring balls-out mere feet off the deck. Thanks for putting this kid back in his place, Kirk!

I'd take roaring in an ugly-ass, 30mm depleted-uranium shell spewing, Maverick-loosing, tank-chewing Warthog over my SHOs in a heartbeat Mel.

Unfortunately for me, Uncle Sam didn't want a half-deaf pilot. But, as luck would have it, the company I work for makes optical components that end up in Maverick & Paveway heads, along with the F14's Phoenix, and we're working on parts that'll end up in the new SIRFC chopper countermeasures package. So, I guess in a small way I get to be involved.

The ATX looks good, sounds good, but without serious mods doesn't seem to get out of its own way very well, though she still takes out the occasional Celica & Integra on the way home from the shop. :)
