I believe a 95(?)-99 neon, that body style, front strut tower brace will fit the front and rear of our cars. If you have a gen2, the rear will be a problem i think if you have the jbl sound system. Otherwise I think they fit. I can't remember for drilling or not.....I think for the gen1 you need to cut a part of the piece that bolts to the strut area. I think there was a picture of what to do in a past thread.

Yes, not sure. They flex a lot though.

Matt where are you getting this info?? The Neon bars are very stiff, and a million times better the old aluminum SHOShop bars that you can bend with the push of a finger. Only downside with the neon bars is the mounting plate.

The SHO SHOp bars you are refering to were for LOOKS only! They also had stiffer/performance bars! You had to pay more $$ for those though...;)

So you admit it!!

Anyways, my main point is they do not "flex a lot" as Matt said.

I think I'm going to have my rear strut towers welded together with a solid square tube bar while it is back at the body shop. Probably on the sides of the towers instead of using the strut mounting points. This car will never be a Daily driver again, only a track and late night street brawler.

It was a different one that I have seen around. So I guess you should be careful as to which one you use.

any years neons non-srt4. Im not sure about the rear for a non-jbl SHO. For the JBL sub , it just dont have the curve...

Ebay has the fronts for 6$....But watch the shipping , the last one I checked they quoted me 67$ more for shipping....god I hate when they do this.

Yep, you can use the bottom bolt hole on mounting plate, you have to re-drill the other two tho...if that makes since...Just look at Matt's pictures in post 7

Not sure about the rear neon bars, but the front fits on both front and rear of the SHO.
