My GEN III was stalling real bad. I drove it to the dealership and on the way there, it died on me 5 times. The said that the coil packs were bad, so the fixed them and now my SHO runs great, I THINK shrug WHAT IS THE AVERAGE TIME FOR A GEN III FROM 0--60. I timed mine today and it went from 0 to 60 in 10.7 seconds. That does not seem right at all. What can I do to get a better time? Injector cleaner, fuel cleaner or what?

If the "dealer" found out it was a coil pack then I'm assuming he did the "computer check" thing and hence everything including all sensors are ok? I can run to 60mph in 10.6 seconds. Either your fake Rolex is out of wack or your dealer didn't check squat! A professional fuel system cleaning is highly recommended evry 30-40k miles. Get it done if you believe it's the cause. You should be about 7 seconds.

One Thing to remember, here in Denver (5280 feet above sea level) 0-60 times increase by almost a full second. Question - were you timing it yourself, or did you have someone else in the car timing it for you?? If you did, the extra weight will slow you down too.

I dont think that is that far off from normal. My 93 ATX did it in about 9.5 secs, I wouldn't be surprised if yours was up there. You might want to replace all the coil packs though, if one goes, they all will.
