mtx idle program reset

It is apparent that the idle program needs to be reset after my lower 60k job. I have been told how to do it sort of (unplug battery, turn on headlights, reconnect start, turn wheel....etc), but, after doing a search on idle reset, I can't find the actual procedure from start to finish. Someone please direct me to it or post it again.
