In September I did some maintenance to get the SHO to pass smog. So I replaced the water pump, spark plugs, CPS, belts, and some other things. Well now I have a little leak and the tranny shop said it was my oil pan gasket. So Im wondering, if I do replace the oil pan gasket, does that mean I should replace rod bearings and other things? Because I also have a little ticking noise coming from the engine. And its not my throwout bearing becuase it was just replace. Thanks for the help.

If your going to remove the pan, you might as well do the rod bearings. Is the ticking noise coming from the top, or bottom of the engine?
