I run autolite platnum plugs. I have had no issues for 20,000 miles.

I know the SHO guys out there say only use the OEM plugs, but now I run AC Rapidfires (note; not Splitfires; I ran Splitfires for a while, and although they worked great, they wore out quickly)
I did a direct test; i.e., back to back comparison versus a new set of Motorcraft old syle double platinums on my car (hey, I was between jobs at the time and had lots of time..). My car idles a little smoother and runs a bit better with the Rapidfires; they have been in for about 18,000 miles now and they also fit the OEM wires the same as stock plugs. A little bit of a pain to change rear plugs on the SHO, but nowhere near as bad as my Mitsubishi daily driver, where the whole intake manifold has to be removed to get to the rear bank.....

Magnecors have been in mine for about seven or eight years. Never had a problem although I have a tiny fraction of the miles Scott has and have lived in two very dry states in that time.
