Actually, he's looking for US, ya know, the local guys that have known him and his dad for quite a few years, to help him out. Give some recommendations on what he should get.

But yes, out of boredom, let's rehash that topic again amidst insanely hilarious herrafrushery.

Okay...

He didn't specify which parts. It seems more as if he's looking for yousguys to tell him what he wants.

We had a recent thread that was very similar to this... Nobody knew him so people told it like it was. Weird...

i was on leave the begining of july when everyone was getting ready for the convention, ill be back home again some time in december or january area

i thought about getting one of the kits but wasnt sure if i shud get they all ready assembled or have all the assembly type work done when they go to get put in..

**also yeah im looking for reccomendations cuz i dont have time to sit around all day and look up info about suspensions and stuff that works good on the sho, and tinker around and find out whats works best for the car.. my job is hindering that in a serious way, and when my old man had an sho i was alot younger so it not like i cud go mess around with his, but apparently im less of a man for asking for help, well i guess lesser men defend countrys so bite me:swing:

That's right. We were talking about suspensions.

Mike, I think the SHOSource kit you're referring to is the new coilover kit they've just introduced? This one: http://shosource.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=61_3_59&products_id=428

It seems like a well thought out, quality setup. However, for the average street driven car, you don't need that.

If it were me, I'd be buying Intrax springs and some Monroe Sensatrak struts. I'll get in touch with your dad later today and discuss it with him.

those were my first thought, but then i was gunna go with the sho source coil kit and the konis struts, drops the car 2.75" and stiffens it up real nice, and was gunna get adjustable endlinks so the sway bar doesnt gets messed up nd stuff starts to squeak

Intrax is 1.5 front, 1 rear. For most SHOs that's plenty, especially with crappy New England roads.

We can also cut a coil out of the Intrax springs to lower it a little more.

I guess I should ask.... what's your goal? You want it slammed, don't car about ride quality and stuff? Or a mix of both, lowered, but still rides well?

well i have a nice pair of 18's on there and i wanna close the huge gap between the fender and the tire, its got low profile tires, so right now it looks horrid, but i also wanna tighten up the ride , its a bit loose up front and kind bouncey, nd i wanna a suspension thats gunna handle well at higher speeds... although she handled really well at 130mph on the mass pike when i was home :)
