Ok so youd think then, that even with the stock one still on, the tune would have the fans come on at 160. Right? I mean its just a tstat. No sensors are involved? Im just trying to figure out why the stock one cant work with that part of the tunePretty sure the flow rate and it opening earlier helps keep the temps down. Instead of it opening at 178*, it's open at 160*. I barely notice a difference in everyday driving (coolant temp is displayed on torque at all times), but it does help on the big end. 1/4 mile pulls I'm down 10-15* with the 160* tstat.
