So I did the TC off and gave it some more miles to learn. When I do a launch and it goes to shift in to second it hesitates and makes a few clicking noises and then shift. It only does this in launch and not when I'm at like a starting speed. It never did this before the tune. Any other ideas?
Check trans fluid levels. Also verify if the clicking is the transmission or the PTU clicking.
Tunes can but don't usually cause the issue. More often than not they bring an underlying problem to light, the increase in power can definitely bring that up.
But please, stay in contact with us and we will remain in contact as well and try to solve this issue as soon as possible.

Mine sometimes will have issues from 1-2 but mine is a complete loss of tranny engagement! Under WOT the car acts like it went into Neutral and the engine red lines RPMs and smoke billows out the exhaust! I've had my PTU and tranny looked at twice during oil changes at the dealer and they said all is good so I don't know what is happening.
This only happens about 2 out of 10 hard launches. But I've found out that it does this mostly when I hit WOT while turning a corner or if I get off the gas even for a mili-second, it screws everything up. BUT....if the engine is properly warmed up including the turbos and I'm in a straight line at complete stop, then launch full throttle it works perfect!

Mine would do that if I started out slow, turning from a stop or red light, but it was here and there. NEVER did it once while at the track this past season. I figured if it didn't happen there, it was nothing to worry about.

Is the car fully warmed up when this occurs....the trans will hold gears longer when it's not up to temperature, and cause a harsh shift.

Yeah it is. I'm not really understanding it and I am scared it is going to break something.

Have you looked over the TSB'S involving trans issues....I know there are a few pertaining to harsh shifts. The tune may have just brought the issue into the light.

I wouldn't fully trust a visual inspection of trans or ptu from the dealer myself....they wiped my ptu clean and told me it wasn't leaking when it obviously was spewing fluid out of the vent...they were surprised I had pics and the conversation went south when I called them out on wiping it clean.

I'd also ask Livernois to send out a V8 tune, just to try and see if that makes any difference.

Try flashing back to stock and see if it's still there.

This happens to my 2016 as well, the dealer said nothing is wrong had my car for 10 days took it for 2 test drives and said they couldn't get it to do it. I reflashed mine back to stock for the warranty work and it still does it, so it's not likely the tune and mine does it TC or no TC. I do a lot of highway driving 25k miles in 6 months but I run her pretty hard to keep her on point. Mine has only been doing this about a month and I have had the tune sunce 6 miles on the odometer.

Just Curious does it happen right at 40 mph?

Have you 13+ owners had the fuel module recall done?

Had mine done recently, I thought this was the module behind the rear seat, as seen somewhere on the forum. Dealer had my car for most of the day, had to get inside the fuel tank for it..

You can DIY the replacement yourself, and it is not expensive to get the part (if it's available that is), if you want to try it. You can take a pic and post it, so we can know if you have the latest revision already or not.

An intermittent fuel issue could cause the computer to do many weird things.

Guy on ATP turbos was having a hard time getting his tunes dialed in until he switched the module.

Long shot here, but looking back at the OP...the "squeak" noise, maybe a wastegate issue?

Haven't heard our WGs having a squeaking issue....

I would be more inclined to think it might be something in the drive train moving if the squeak happens right when the car has that hard shift... I have heard all kinds of weird noises from a drivetrain moving around during an exceptionally hard shift...

First in my mind would be to take care of the hard shift issue to see if it resolves the squeaking noise..

However, if it squeaks every time on that shift regardless of how hard it's shifting, then I would be more concerned...

Mine has a sqeak, rear roll bar bushing are a common issue as they dry out. Tried to grease mine to help but I found the mount itself looks like it is 2 pieces but I could not remove it off of the bushing. All I was able to do is slide it over to one side and grease the roll bar and slide the mount/ bushing over. Helped but there is still some noise.

The motor mount is hydraulic, IIRC. Had some people report it leaking before.
