I installed a gear head tune about a month ago, I noticed right away my knock sensor was pulling timing bad, found out the upper trans mount was bad, replaced that and the numbers seem better but there are times where it will pull 7.5° of timing still and i’m stuck on why. At WOT it seems to do okay but when going from a stop probably about quarter throttle or so it gets those high knock sensor numbers. I inspected the harness yesterday and I could see slight rubbing on the wire casing but it hasnt rubbed through from what I can see. Any thoughts?

How is your OAR and what octane are you putting in the car?

OAR is all over the place. When it pulls timing it jumps up quite high. The highest I have seen is +0.31 but from 5 minutes of highway speeds I got that to drop back down to -0.96 I am putting 93 octane in it

Try doing a OAR reset. This is how @Jordan_R does it.

Put it in fifth at 40mph, set cruise and then rapidly increase the speed on the cruise. That's my trick to lug the engine enough to cause the knock sensors to add timing. WOT isn't a good way to get your OAR up as there is moments in the pull that will reset the knock sensors before reaching -4.

Once you do that, go back out and see what your knock is doing. If you are still getting more knock, add some E85 to the mix. If the knock goes away, then you have a fuel problem.
